101 Must-Do's for Kiwis

National Parks

About National Parks

Some 20 per cent of Tasmania is made up of national parks. Narawntapu National Park, on the north coast, and Maria Island, off Tasmania's east coast, are two of the best places for observing often remarkably placid Tasmanians: unhurried wombats, Cape Barren geese and kangaroos are, on Maria Island especially, readily seen through the day.
