About Freycinet Experience Walk

Part of The Great Walks of Tasmania, Freycinet Experience Walk is a guided trek along the Freycinet Peninsula on Tasmania's east coast. The four-day walk involves both coastal and mountain walking. The Freycinet Experience Walk takes you along deserted beaches, up pink-granite Mt Graham and through the heart of the rich native heathlands of the Freycinet National Park, including Wineglass Bay. Each evening you return to the award-winning and environmentally sensitive Friendly Beaches Lodge for an evening meal featuring local produce and regional wines, and the added luxury of a hot shower and a comfortable bed. You also do not have to carry a heavy backpack. The Walk covers 30km to 37km, depending on the walking option you choose. Regardless of your route choice, you will travel from the southern to the northern tip of the Freycinet Peninsula in a continuous journey. No one else except fellow walkers and the four staff will be at the Friendly Beaches Lodge - making it a special place to completely unwind.
